An adult person will put money into a red envelope with a phrase about New Year, then they will give it to a kid. So I just say some good thing for all person who older than me, they will give me a red envelope. However, sometimes my family makes a joke on me by giving me an empty envelope.
Then we will fire a firework. The sound of the firework is very loud, but it makes people happy. They believe that it will give a family a wonderful year.
The picture of the first day always in my mind, it is very happy and great. On second day of Tet, Iwill go to a temple with my family. My family usually comes to visit at least five temples in that day.
The reason that we are going to temple is pray for a good year. In this day, a lot of people go to temple to pray for a good year because they believe that Buddha will give them more lucky and happy. You can easily smell smoke in this day because a lot of people fire Joss stick to pray in temple and their house.
The atmosphere is very festive. Incense is burned in the temple. The color Red, symbolizing good luck and happiness is seen everywhere.
Morever It helps to make the atmosphere warmer and connect people with god.
After we pray and donate for temple, we will have a good time to enjoy a vegetable noodle in temple. All noodles are made by vegetable and tofu.
